What Shattaland at El Nido Papagayo is all about
As the name suggests, shatta takes centre stage, backed by dancehall and afrobeats: heavy bass and rhythms that keep you moving. It's held at El Nido Papagayo, on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina in Playa de las Américas.
In summer 2026 it opened on Wednesdays from 23:00, a midweek night made for heading out with your friends and dancing to these sounds in the south of Tenerife.
