Halloween: one night, several clubs
Each club runs its own version, so you can pick by atmosphere. The last edition included Tower of Terror at TwentyTwo, plus parties at Toy Room and Infinity by Hugo's.
Matching the theme is appreciated, and without a costume you'll feel a bit out of place. Choose something you can dance in for hours: big masks and impossible heels don't last long.
New Year's Eve: how to hear in time
The club and tickets are published later on and the news reaches the VIP list first, so it's worth joining now. If you're a group and want to secure a spot, you can request a table on the VIP page. Bear in mind the table doesn't include tickets: everyone needs their own, and you have to arrive at the time you're given.
White Party: head-to-toe white
Here the dress code is the whole point. One edition on the Infinity by Hugo's rooftop began at 21:00 to catch the sunset, with last entry at midnight and two rooms: trap, reggaeton and R&B in one; house, techno and commercial in the other.
Try your outfit in daylight first: white shows more than you'd expect.
Italian, French and Latin nights
These revolve around the music and crowd of each country: Italian hits and rap, French classics, reggaeton and Latin tracks. You don't need the language or the passport; knowing two choruses is enough. Dress as you would for any club night.
Foam party: you will get soaked
Aria Complex, an open-air venue in San Gwann, has hosted them, and the plan is as simple as it sounds. Wear clothes you don't mind ruining and closed shoes with grip, leave anything that can't get wet at your hotel and keep your phone in a pouch.
What to wear the rest of the time
Each party sets its own dress code: check its listing or ask me on WhatsApp. More detail in the dress code guide.
