A movie set turned seaside village
It was built in 1979 for the shoot and is now one of Malta's best-known attractions. You wander between the original timber houses, walk lanes that appear on screen and find plenty of photogenic corners with the bay as a backdrop.
During the day there are family shows and entertainment themed around Popeye's world (seasonal), and in summer you'll also find water activities and inflatables out in the bay.

Beyond the visit, you can relax on the sun decks and take a dip in Anchor Bay's clear water when weather and season allow. Cafés and snack spots are on hand whenever you need a break.
