Toy Room Malta: right in the middle of Paceville

Toy Room is on St George's Road in the heart of Paceville, the part of St Julian's where most of Malta's clubs and bars are packed together. From Sliema or any St Julian's hotel it's a walk or a short taxi ride, and there are plenty of spots around it for a drink beforehand.

Inside it feels like a proper big club, with visuals, shows and DJs going until 04:00 for a very international crowd of tourists and Erasmus students. There are also VIP tickets with VIP-area access and tables with bottle service.

Toy Room parties: Glow Night, Love Night, Dolce Vita and reggaeton

In summer almost every night has its own party. Mondays mean Dolce Vita and Italian anthems; Tuesdays bring French-flavoured Le Désir or Love Night, where you pick a coloured wristband to show whether you're single or not; Wednesdays are Glow Night and its neon; Thursdays alternate between KA-BOOM!, with balloons and games, and Señorita's reggaeton and Latin house; and Saturdays are Wild West and Toy Room Saturdays.

Out of season the club keeps going with winter editions on selected Saturdays, such as Glow Night, Love Night and Bad Bunnies, its reggaeton, Latin trap and hip-hop night. There are one-off dates too, like Halloween.

Toy Room tips and how to buy tickets

The dress code is smart casual or sharp clubwear, and matching the theme always goes down well (neon for Glow Night, a cowboy touch for Wild West). Bring photo ID: the minimum age is usually 17 and it's checked at the door. Parties normally start at 23:00, and Saturdays and big dates fill up, so don't leave it to the last minute.
