What to expect at a Malta pool party

There are two styles. Day parties start late morning or around midday and run until sunset, with DJs from the first hour, sunbeds, cocktails and dancers around the pool; Toy Room Beach Club is the big name, with weekly sessions and its own White Party. Night pool parties take over rooftop pools: they start in the evening and keep going into the early hours.

There are themed twists too: neon glow nights, French rooftop parties, reggaeton sessions across two dance floors, or the foam party at Aria Complex, with foam cannons, two dance floors and a pool.

Where and when: the best pool parties in Malta

In Paceville, Infinity by Hugo's throws its parties on the H Hotel rooftop, with views over St Julian's and two rooms: trap, reggaeton and R&B in one, house and commercial in the other. Close by, the FLO Skypool rooftop is made for sunset before a night of clubbing. Gianpula Village has its own Rooftop pool, and in 2026 tickets included a return bus from Paceville. Café del Mar in St Paul's Bay is famous for its Thursday pool party with the sunset as a backdrop.

Peak season runs from June to August, with the first dates in May and closing parties in September. 2027 dates are usually announced in spring.

Pool party tips (and how to get your tickets)

Arrive early: last entry at rooftop parties is strict (in 2026, midnight at Infinity and 21:00 at FLO), and at Café del Mar it's best to be in before 22:00. Pack swimwear, a towel, sunscreen and something stylish for later; for White Parties, dress in all white.
