What a night out is like

Partying here is a summer thing, and a very international one: people from all over Europe, non-stop music and plenty going on outdoors. The day splits in two: beach sessions in the late afternoon as the sun goes down, then clubs and themed parties until late.

The heart of it all is Laganas, in the south of the island, with its famous strip of bars and clubs. By day the island is worth exploring too: turquoise beaches and boat trips to coves like Navagio to recharge before the next night.

Beach parties, clubs and themed nights

Sunset beach parties are the island classic: music, sand and an atmosphere that builds until dark. After that it's club time, with plenty of venues running themed nights, plus special parties during the peak-season weeks.

My tip: pair one day party with one or two big nights and keep a free day for the beach. That way you get the most out of your trip without burning out on the first weekend. Travelling with friends? Agree on your must-do nights before you go: in peak season, deciding at the last minute can mean missing out.
